Westford projects

What is being discussed?
What has actually been decided?

Project language matters. A concept, application, hearing, approval, funding award and construction start are different milestones.

Under study

Alternatives are being compared. No preferred outcome is established.

Under review

An application or proposal is moving through a public process.

Approved milestone

A specific vote or decision occurred; other steps may remain.

How to follow a Westford project

  1. Find the exact board, application or project name.
  2. Read the current packet—not only an early presentation.
  3. Look for the vote, signed decision, conditions and later permits.
  4. Check dates before applying the information to a property decision.
